What is the ECO4
funding scheme?
The ECO4 funding scheme is a four-year government-backed scheme intended to improve the energy efficiency of lower-income, vulnerable and fuel-poor households throughout the UK. According to Ofgem, 3.5 million homes will be eligible for the scheme, and there is a funding pot of £4 billion available. ECO4 provides grants to fund energy-efficient upgrades to homes such as loft, wall or cavity insulation and boiler upgrades to help reduce emissions and energy bills.
